I am an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Washington–Tacoma

I study inequality and culture. A few of my ongoing projects focus on political segregation in the labor market, gender and racial pay gaps, and socioeconomic inequality. The overarching goal of my research is to understand the causes and consequences of our society’s present challenges, from persistent inequality to an increasingly contentious culture war. I use a wide range of quantitative methods and data sources in my research, but I have a soft spot for experiments.
